THESO provides sub-grants only where downstream funding is authorised by the applicable donor agreement and an approved funding opportunity exists. Registration, due diligence, training or institutional assessment does not guarantee funding.
Eligible partners are assessed through documented screening, due diligence, risk classification and approval. The contracted sub-implementing partner delivers approved activities while THESO retains fund governance, financial control, oversight, verification and reporting responsibilities.
