For communities

Ask about services. Share feedback. Find the right reporting route.

Choose a route for an ordinary service question, routine feedback or guidance on raising a sensitive concern.

How can we help?

Choose the information or support you need.

Information and participation

Find information. Share feedback. Know where to raise a concern.

You may need to know whether a service is available in your area, explain a problem with an activity or suggest a change that would make it easier to use. You do not need to prepare a partnership proposal to ask an ordinary question or share feedback.

Start with the option that matches your need. Current services and eligibility depend on the programme and location. This website provides information and contact guidance; its general enquiry tool prepares an email draft and does not register you for assistance or confirm that THESO has received a message.

What matters in your community

Choose the starting point that fits your need.

Ask about services

Describe the information you need and your general location. Ask whether a relevant programme or service is currently available, who is responsible for it and where to obtain current details. Do not include identity documents, medical records or other sensitive information in the first general enquiry.

Prepare a service question

Share routine feedback

Tell us about access, opening arrangements, information, facilities or another practical issue. Explain what happened and the change you would find useful. Share only the details needed to understand the issue; use the separate reporting guidance for safeguarding or other sensitive concerns.

Prepare routine feedback

Find the reporting route

For concerns about conduct, safeguarding or misuse of resources, review the reporting guidance before sharing details. A dedicated confidential route has not been confirmed for this review. The general email can be used to ask for an appropriate contact without including names or detailed allegations.

Information, routine feedback and reporting guidance

Take the next step with only the information needed.

  1. Choose the type of enquiry

Use a service question for ordinary information, routine feedback for practical suggestions or problems, and the reporting guidance for sensitive concerns. Choose the option that matches what you need.

  2. Share only what is needed

A short description and general location can be enough to begin. Reply details are optional for ordinary questions and feedback; include a contact method if you want a response. An email may still identify its sender, so optional fields do not make the route anonymous.

  3. Review your next step

If you use the enquiry tool, review the draft and choose whether to send it through your email app. Preparing the draft does not send it. You can also write directly to info@theso.org. This is an ordinary correspondence route, with no emergency-response or response-time guarantee.

Read reporting guidance
Can I register for assistance through this page?
No. This page helps you ask for information or share feedback. Registration and eligibility are determined by each programme. Ask what is currently available in your location before sharing documents or detailed personal information.
Do I have to identify myself to prepare routine feedback?
The general community draft can be prepared without a name or reply address. Include a contact method if you want a reply. Sending an ordinary email can reveal the sender’s address and other information; this is not an anonymous or confidential reporting system.
What should I do if someone needs urgent help?
Use locally available emergency, health or protection support where it is safe to do so. Do not wait for a website enquiry or general email response. For a non-urgent sensitive concern, read the reporting guidance before sharing identifying details.
